Your Roadmap to a Smooth-Running, Joyful Classroom Starts Here
If your days sometimes feel messy, overwhelming, or like you’re constantly putting out fires, you’re not alone. That’s exactly why I created the 4 Foundations Framework™—to help you calm the chaos, build stronger connections with your students, and bring joy back to teaching.
These four simple, powerful elements give you a clear path forward—so you can focus on what you love most: seeing your students actively engaged and learning, and finally feel confident, supported, and excited to teach again.
Regulate: Help your students (and yourself!) manage big emotions. Learn simple co-regulation and self-regulation tools you can use in the moment—even on those tough days when everything feels like it’s falling apart.
Connect: Build positive relationships by following each child’s lead and discovering what lights them up. Stronger connections mean more smiles, more trust, and less resistance during the day.
Routines: Discover how predictable routines can transform your day. Reduce chaos, help students feel safe and secure, and create space for more learning and calm—so you can breathe easier.
Teach: Learn practical teaching strategies designed for young autistic children. It’s not just what you teach, but how you teach it—so every child actively engages, learns at their own pace, and feels successful.

With clear, compassionate guidance, you’ll feel supported, confident, and free to focus on what you love most—teaching kids.
I’m a speech-language pathologist who spent over 25 years running a communication-based classroom for young autistic children.
During that time, I watched the way we teach and support autistic students evolve—and I made it my mission to stay at the forefront of research and strategies. My top priority? Building positive, trusting relationships with my students.
In 2019, after losing my dad to leukemia, I needed something to pull me out of the darkness. That’s when I started creating resources for educators and parents—because I knew what it felt like to feel overwhelmed and unsure where to start.
Autism Little Learners was born from that season of grief, and it has grown into my passion: helping educators and parents reduce overwhelm, see progress, and celebrate small wins that build on each other.
I love connecting with you, sharing what works, and cheering you on as you make an incredible difference for your students.

I want to help you feel confident using strategies that actually work in a busy special education classroom.
Early childhood special education is its own unique world. If you know, you know. 😅
Too often, we’re the “forgotten ones” when it comes to professional development. We spend more time collaborating with parents, our work can be physical, and our students are often dysregulated and still finding their voices.
I get it because I’ve been there. And that’s why I built this space-so you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
Thank you for letting me be part of your journey. Supporting you as you support your autistic students and/or child is truly my greatest honor.
