I'm a speech/language pathologist, and I ran a communication-based classroom for young autistic children for 2 decades.
I have a passion for using visual supports in the classroom to help create predictable routines for autistic children. I've learned so much through trial and error over the years and I love sharing the strategies that have stood the test of time. These visuals work with most children and are easy for support staff to carry out.
I founded Autism Little Learners in 2019, and love connecting with educators and parents to help reduce their overwhelm and help them experience progress and small successes that build upon each other!

You sure can, but the starter set gives you the "what". Meaning, "what" visual supports have been proven to create smoother transitions. But, you still need the "how" and "why" in order to implement them with ease and fidelity. I've been using many of these supports for two decades, and I'll walk you through the step-by-step process for each of them.
"This is a game changer!!!! I've used it all year with my 3's and 4's in my ECSE room and it is amazing how well it works!"
- Sonya
"I have been using this all year after attending your webinar in the fall! And I made them for the kindergarten classrooms. They worked wonders"
- Jessica
"This has saved me SAVED me!!!!!!!!!!!! My daughter knows things will stay and wait here!! I need to print one for the car so that stuffed animal friends do not go into school or any annoying toys!!!
I need to print and laminate at least 50 more for my sanity!!!!"
- Kathleen
"I love the wait mat! I've also used it for a student when waiting for snack instead of screaming. I had him put his hands on the mat and he knew the snack was then coming and the screaming stopped almost immediately.
It was incredible to watch his anxiety fade so quickly"
- Jessie
"I have just started to use this to help a little boy transition at home time. On the second day he went home for the first time with no tears. Thank you"
- Kate
